Programmable keys and presence

The app has a programmable-key strip that mirrors your desk phone's key layout — the same BLF, speed-dial, parking and status keys an admin configures on the user's IP Phone settings (see key layouts). If you've lived on a receptionist's sidecar, this is that, on screen.

Realtime key states

BLF keys show their colleague's state live: idle, ringing and busy update in real time as calls move through the system — the same lamp behavior a desk phone's BLF lights give you, driven by the system's realtime call-state events.

What keys do

  • Tap a key while idle to call that colleague, speed-dial or parking orbit.
  • Tap a key mid-call to transfer the caller there — the fastest transfer in the app.

Team presence

Beyond the key strip, the app's team view shows presence for the whole directory — who's available, away, on Do Not Disturb, or on a call — along with each person's status note. It's the same presence the web client and your forwarding profiles work from.
